Your bike tour in Normandy:

Discover a little bit of Normandy during a short break! We offer a real breath of fresh air and change of scene along the coast: White cliffs, huge sand beaches, half-timbering houses… Bayeux and Caen will be you two host towns; you will discover a rich heritage and lively quarters. Take you time to stop, look, visit and admire!

Day 1 : Arrival in Bayeux + excursion to to Omaha Beach and La Pointe du Hoc | 52 km

Welcome to Bayeux! Thousands of years of history are hidden in its streets, monuments, gardens and parks. Linger in the old town of Bayeux and walk around between the narrow streets and the imposing town houses. Stop at the Notre-Dame cathedral, spared, like the historical center town, by the second world war bombardments.

This first itinerary leads you, through the Normandy countryside, to one of the main points of the French Liberation: Omaha Beach. Visit its memorial museum and follow your path on the countryside roads. Do not hesitate to make a detour toward the coast, especially to Colleville-sur-Mer to visit the American cemetery. Keep going to Port-en-Bessin and its nice fishing port. Go back to Bayeux at the end of the day.

Day 2 : Bayeux – Caen | 57 km

During this second day of biking, keep discovering the Normandy coast. On the schedule: Arromanches-les-Bains and the amazing Landing history on its beaches; You will be able to discover this history at the landing’s museum, or just by walking along the coast where remain marks of History. Join Gold Beach and Juno Beach to reach the nice and lively city of Caen.
