Your bike trip around the Lake Constance

Day 1 : Arrival in Constance

Take the opportunity to wander through Constance’s old town or visit the aquariums in the Sea Life Center and go to the Archaeological Museum.

Day 2 : Constance – Uhldingen / Meersburg | 25 / 30 km + boat trip

From Constance you cycle to the nearby Flower Island of Mainau (included), where you will also find its famous butterfly house and an exciting
adventure playground, where time just flies by. You get from Wallhausen to Überlingen by boat and then pedal to Uhldingen.

Day 3 : Meersburg – Friedrichshafen | 20 / 25 km

In Meersburg, make sure you take some time to stroll through the lovely old town. A guided tour of castle Meersburg is also a fascinating experience. Today‘s destination, Friedrichshafen, has a great Zeppelin Museum we can recommend visiting. It tells you everything there is to know about the history of these air ships.

Day 4 : Excursion to Ravensburger Spieleland or relax by the lake | 30 km or bus

The cycle path to Ravensburger Spieleland is actually not very far but hilly. Therefore we recommend taking the bus from Friedrichshafen directly to the amusement park. One day there is nearly not enough, there is just so much to see, to try out, to build and to play!
You can also choose to stay by the lake to relax and swim.

Day 5 : Friedrichshafen – Lindau | 30 km

When you haven‘t visitied the Zeppelin Museum so far, you should do that today! The way to Lindau goes by quickly, so you have more than enough time to check out the famous Zeppelin airships. Afterwards you cycle through Langenargen with its pretty Montfort Castle to the Bavarian town of Lindau, whose harbour is watched over by a 6-metre high lion.

Day 6 : Lindau – Rorschach / Arbon | 40 km

You should take your first break in Bregenz: The cable car lifts you up to the top of Mount Pfänder above Bregenz and the Lake Constance area.
On top you cannot only enjoy the view but also say hello or „Servus“ like the Austrians to the animals at the petting zoo. Back on your bike you reach Höchst, where you soon cross the Swiss border, and reach Rorschach and a few kilometres further Arbon.

Day 7 : Rorschach – Constance | 50 km

The last day of your tour takes you through Romanshorn which is home to Switzerland‘s largest harbour on Lake Constance. Now you continue on along the banks of Lake Constance back to Constance. You will frequently pass places where you can go swimming and refresh yourself in the lovely cool waters of the lake. Let your tour come to a pleasant end with a visit to the underwater world at the Sea-Life Centre in Constance.
