Your bike tour around Lake Garda

Day 1 : Desenzano del Garda / Sirmione

Arrival at your hotel.

Stroll through the historic center and along the lakeshore.

Day 2 : Desenzano/Sirmione – Garda | 45 km

You pedal over gently undulating terrain through the Lugana wine region to the banks of the Mincio River. This river takes you directly to the fortress of Peschiera, before returning you to Lake Garda. For a few kilometers, the cycle path runs directly along the shores of the lake, then dips slightly into the hinterland. Through the orchards and vineyards of Bardolino, you return to the shore, which you follow under shady pines to the charming lakeside resort of Garda.

Day 3 : Garda – Torbole/Riva | 65km

You leave the shore and head for the Adige valley. Enjoy the magnificent view of the lake again, and follow the cycle path through olive groves and vineyards. You then continue quietly northwards, still accompanied by countless fruit trees. From Mori, you leave the river again and cross the Passo San Giovanni to reach Torbole or Riva. Shortly before the finish line, you’ll once again enjoy a breathtaking view of the lake and Sarca valley.

Day 4 : Excursion on the Sarca Valley | 50 km

The River Sarca is one of the largest rivers in Trentino. You follow it along a well-designed cycle path from Torbole into the valley as far as Pietramurata. The village is surrounded by Lake Garda’s highest mountains and offers fantastic views. Enjoy the peace and quiet of this natural park and visit the Arco fortress before returning to the shores of Lake Garda.

Day 5 : Torbole/Riva - Salo | transfer to Lake Ledro + 65km

In the morning, a transfer takes you to Lake Ledro. You follow the picturesque alpine lake valley of the same name. Lake Idro will accompany you for some time. You’ll be enchanted by the exceptional quality of its water and its wonderful mountain panorama. Along the cycle path through the Val Sabbia valley, you pedal gently downhill until the imposing Lake Garda opens up before you once again. In Salò, stroll along the flowery promenade and enjoy a delicious ice cream.

Day 6 : Salo - Desenzano/Sirmione | 40 km

The final cycling stage takes you over gently undulating terrain, a little into the hinterland. This is where the characteristic and historic wines of Lake Garda, such as Lugana, Chiaretto and Groppello, are pressed. Once you’ve arrived at your departure point, indulge in a glass of one of these typical wines and toast to a wonderful and eventful cycling vacation.
