Your cycling tour in Brittany:

A magnificent tour which will take you to the heart of Brittany, a region with many faces, where villages and châteaux, coasts and woods nicely and harmoniously nestle between land and sea.

A journey through time, crowned by the “Wonder of the West”, Mont-Saint-Michel, and the Cité Corsaire of Saint Malo, via the very pretty Côte d’Emeraude or emerald coast.

Day 1 : Arrival in Saint Malo

Take the time to discover Saint-Malo, the fabulous “cité des corsairs” or pirate city: Saint Malo! Many legends are still haunting the narrow streets of the centre of this town fortified by Vauban!

Day 2 : Saint Malo - Dinan | 35 km

After exploring the ramparts, the paved alleys and the port of Saint Malo, a trip through the heart of the Rance Valley offers unique panoramic views before reaching the impressive and outstanding mediaeval town of Dinan.

Day 3 : Dinan - Combourg | 34 km (option + 9 km)

After a journey along wooded routes, you will stop over in old Combourg, dominated by its imposing feudal château, famous for its vast lake which Chateaubriand liked to visit.

Day 4 : Combourg - Pontorson | 49 km

A stage taking you through the heart of the Breton inlands, punctuated with forests, lakes and little villages in order to reach the Couesnon Valley and Pontorson, a peaceful little town on the route to Mont-Saint-Michel.

Option Extra night in Fougères

Possibility to add an extra night in Fougères, to discover the prestigious mediaeval city is overlooked by its imposing fortress. Don’t miss a visit at the chateau.
Stage Combourg – Fougères (55 km) + stage Fougères – Pontorson (48 km).

Day 5 : Pontorson - Le Vivier sur Mer | 33 km

A day dedicated to visiting the “Wonder of the West”, the famous Mont St Michel, followed by a journey through the salt meadows to Le Vivier-sur-Mer.

Day 6 : Le Vivier sur Mer - Saint Malo | 40 km

Today’s route takes you along the long fine sand beaches and oyster parks up to the picturesque little port of Cancale. Continue along the wild coastline passing via the windswept “Pointe du Grouin” before reaching Saint Malo.
Departure at the end of the stage.

Possibility to plan an extra night in St Malo.

Option Excursion to Dinard & Saint Lunaire | 38 km + extra night in St Malo

Embark on a bus boat to cross the Rance river and reach Dinard a beautiful town presenting a fantastic seaside heritage: from beautiful manor-houses facing the sea to magnificent beaches and pathways along the sea. Then ride peacefully along the greenway before reaching the sea again. Make a stop in Saint Lunaire before embarking on the bus boat to enjoy a nice view over Saint-Malo.
