Your bike trip between Blois and Chenonceaux:
Enjoy a 2-days bike escape to discover the Loire Valley treasures along its nice cycling paths. The iconic castles of Blois, Amboise and Chenonceaux as well as the astonishing Garden Festival of Chaumont-sur-Loire punctuate you ride along the Loire river to the Cher river.
Cycle through the « Touraine-Amboise » vineyards and take time to explore the royal city of Amboise and discover the last home of Leonardo Da Vinci.
Day 1 : Arrival in Blois in the morning + stage Blois - Amboise | 40 km
Leave the charming town of Blois and its old quarters following the “Loire à vélo” cycling paths towards the castle of Chaumont sur Loire. Not to be missed: The International Garden Festival which takes place in the vast park of the Estate. An absolute laboratory for the contemporary creation, where the world famous designers challenge their originality. Then go on, between vineyards and Loire river, to reach Amboise where lived the greatest Kings of France and the genius Leonardo Da Vinci the last three years of his life!

Day 2 : Excursion to Chenonceaux | 43 km + option 8 km
Before starting your bike excursion, take time to admire the Clos Lucé Manor House where lived Leonardo da Vinci, at the request of the French King François 1st! Go for a walk in the park landscaped around the artistic and visionary universe of the greatest creative genius.
Once you have crossed the Amboise forest, reach the famous Château de Chenonceau, straddling the Cher river, and which was the scene of a famous rivalry in French history: that of Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de Medici.
