Day 1 : Arrival in Amboise + Bike excursion to Chaumont sur Loire | 45 km
Explore this pleasant royal town situated on the banks of the Loire, dominated by the proud château which was home to the greatest kings of France!
Take advantage of the day and ride to Chaumont-sur-Loire. Follow the meandering country roads which bring you to the banks of the Loire in Chaumont-sur-Loire, whose 15th-century château proudly dominates the town and the river. Don’t miss the extraordinary “Festival des Jardins” garden festival between late May and mid-October!

Day 2 : Excursion to Chenonceaux | 45 km
Once you have crossed the forest of Amboise, you will come to the famous Château de Chenonceau, straddling the Cher river, and which was the scene of a famous rivalry in French history: that of Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de Medici.

Renaissance masterpiece with architecture unique in the world straddling the Cher River. Don’t miss to visit the flower gardens which was the scene of a famous rivalry in French History: that of Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de Medicis.

Day 3 : Excursion to Vouvray vineyards | 45 km
Leave the Loire banks for a while to reach the picturesque Vouvray vineyards, surrounded by troglodyte houses, and famous for its fine and elegant white wines! On the way you will admire superb Renaissance private châteaux such as château de Valmer (remarkable for its Italian and vegetable gardens), and the beautiful château de Jallanges as well. And don’t hesitate to stop for a visit to a local wine producer to sample a glass of Vouvray wine!

Je vous confirme bien volontiers que nous avons passé un très agréable séjour et que nous avons apprécié la qualité de l’hotel, des vélos et équipement, du restaurant … Les circuits et visites étaient agréables et d’un niveau qui nous convenait (nous n’avions pas fait de vélo depuis des années mais nous sommes assez sportifs). Bref un séjour sympathique et bien organisé. Bon il n’a pas fait beau le dimanche mais c’est difficile de vous le reprocher !
