Day 1 : Arrival in Chitenay + Bike excursion to Cheverny | 22 km
Take advantage of the day by doing your 1st bike excursion to Cheverny:
Your itinerary leads you to the Château de Cheverny, well-known for its sumptuously furnished and decorated apartments, which inspired Hergé’s vision of Marlinspike in the adventures of Tintin!
And don’t hesitate to stop for a visit to a local wine producer to sample a glass of Cheverny Blanc.

Day 2 : Excursion to Chambord | 56 km
Cycle through the impressive Domain of Chambord forest, where the most famous and majestic château of the Loire Valley is settled: in its Renaissance splendour, the Château de Chambord boasts no less than 440 rooms.

Day 3 : Excursion to Chaumont-sur-Loire | 37 km
Passing by the countryside routes before reaching the Loire banks at Chaumont-sur-Loire where you can visit the nice Château overlooking the Loire. The ‘garden festival’ where you will be able to admire different interpretations of artistic garden compositions based on a common theme takes place every year in its majestic park.

Follow on your visit discovering the extraordinary International Garden Festival. It’s a real laboratory for contemporary gardens where many landscape creators challenge their imagination with originality.
Day 4 : Excursion to Blois | 35 km
Cycle Through the forest to finally reach the Loire river banks and the nice town of Blois, worth visiting for its old district and also for its château offering a brilliant illustration of the evolution of French architecture from the Middle Ages to the 17th century.

The “follow-me” is a clever coupling device that allows you to attach the child’s bike to your bike with ease. It can be removed easily to let the child ride alone.

Nous avons été très satisfaits de l’organisation de notre circuit en pays de Chambord. Dès le premier contact téléphonique RandoVelo a su nous apporter tous les renseignements et a su nous apporter son conseil pour concrétiser notre circuit. À notre arrivée, nos vélos nous attendaient et nous n’avions plus qu’à choisir le circuit du jour (circuit en marguerite), en fonction de notre forme et/ou de la météo… L’auberge du Centre que nous avons retenue a pleinement répondu à nos attentes autant pour la qualité de l’hébergement que pour la restauration variée et goûteuse.

A wonderfully relaxing vacation in the Loire Valley. Great service from the staff, making our booking easy from the US. Perfect accommodation (Auberge du Centre in Chitenay) with outstanding food, relaxing garden and very caring staff. Our 3 difficult to please teenagers really enjoyed it, that says it all! Merci!

La formule est pratique, les circuits détaillés, l’hôtel où nous avons séjourné à Chitenay parfait. La région possède de nombreuses pistes cyclables en forêt, c’était vraiment agréable.
